About Our Web Site
The ComputerImages web site, domain computerimages.com, is owned and maintained by ComputerImages of Boston, Massachusetts. The domain name was registered on September 1, 1995, and the site launched on November 1, 1995.
The site is designed to be compatible with all popular web browsers and accessible to users with disabilities, and to comport with HTML 5 as published by the W3 Consortium. No browser-specific scripts or HTML tags are used. The text uses only standard characters included in the UTF-8 character set. The site has been tested for complaince with those standards by the W3C Validation Service.
Graphics and layout have been kept simple to ensure compatibility and quick loading times. Where we have specified a typeface we have chosen Verdana because of its availability on most computer systems and demonstrated on-screen legibility. Contrary to common practice, we have not designated alternative fonts such as Arial and Helvetica for those systems lacking Verdana since those alternatives typically designed for clarity when printed at resolutions of 600 dpi or more, not rendered on-screen at 72 to 96 dpi. Instead we feel most users will be better served by having text rendered in the default typeface chosen for their individual systems.
All text and graphics on this site were created by and are owned by ComputerImages unless otherwise stated.
